Veterans Internship Program (VIP)
Mesa VIP provides student veterans the benefit of gaining career-enhancing experience while providing financial incentives towards successful completion of the internship program requirements.
- Express understanding of skills, values, and goals related to the internship experience
- Knowledge of career exploration through assessments, workshops, training and experience
- Understanding daily operational tasks for successful employment
Program Requirements
- Eligible and approved students completing the Veterans Internship Program Track must
complete all requirements listed for the Mesa Impactship Program, as well as :
- Complete a minimum of 75 hours of Work Experience or DCP hours within the dates of the participating semester
- And Create a VIP ePortfolio highlighting your academic and work experience.
Program Requirements
If approved to participate in the MIP Veteran Internship Program Track, students will receive a one-time payment of $2000.00 for reimbursement of expenses made at the end of the term once the MIP Veteran Internship Program Requirements, Work Experience or DCP hours, and class requirements are completed within the selected term; and Dean Approval is submitted to the Mesa College Business Office for Processing.
