Appeal Workshops

The Financial Aid Office of San Diego Mesa College offers Financial Aid Appeal workshops during each semesters' Appeal Submission windows. The Financial Aid Office highly recommends attending one of these workshops that focuses on the Financial Aid Appeal Process. This workshop focuses on the San Diego Mesa College Appeal Process for those students who have applied for Financial Aid (FAFSA or Dream App), who are disqualified due to SAP and who wish to enroll in coursework and appeal at MESA COLLEGE.

Appeal Workshops Process

Registering for Workshops

Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, capped at 30 students.
Register by visiting the Financial Aid Office, calling, or using the provided registration links below.
Register at least 24 hours before the workshop; same-day requests might not be processed.
When registering, include:
- Name
- CSID#
- Preferred workshop date
- Financial Aid Office password (if applicable)
You'll receive a detailed email before the workshop.

Attending a Workshop

Is optional and doesn't guarantee approval.
Offers insight into the Financial Aid Appeal process and potential re-instatement.
Provides key knowledge about the appeal process, including relevant terms, defining extenuating circumstances, and required documentation.
Workshops start on time; arrive early. Latecomers (15+ minutes) will have to reschedule.
