This exhibition was exclusively curated by San Diego Mesa College Museum Studies students. San Diego, CA. On Monday, August 21, 2023, the San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery will display The Resistance of the Echo & La Eco-Resistencia: a multimedia installation by artist Francisco Eme. This multimedia installation is an urban ecology study focusing on the biological dynamics of a canyon situated in a suburb of San Diego. This work will be displayed from August 21st to September 14th, in the San Diego Mesa College Art Gallery.

Today, San Diego Mesa College hosted a start-of-construction event for the future of Fine Arts Building. The event was attended by nearly100 administrators, staff, students, faculty, construction partners and others. Guests were invited to sign or draw a picture on one of two large canvases to symbolize their connection to the new facility. Once the building is open, the mementos will be put on short-term display in the building.
