Today, Mesa College announced that over 100 “short-term” classes starting on October 18 still have seats available. Mesa College has over 100 classes that still have open seats, including courses in Black and Chicano Studies, Culinary, Drama, English, Exercise Science/Health, Fashion, GIS, History, Math, Multimedia, Philosophy, Psychology, Political Science and Web Development. Both on-campus and on-line classes are available, and most classes fulfill GE requirements for both the CSU and UC systems or allow students to earn a degree in Career Education.

San Diego Mesa College has started their Summer 2021 session, with over 350 on-line and hybrid (online and in-person) courses available. Over 7,500 students are already enrolled, and several courses still have availability. Many classes start this week, with other shorter-term courses starting throughout June and into July. Students can view the schedule at sdmesa.edu/Summer. Mesa College is also offering student support services throughout the summer.

Even though the semester is well underway, prospective students can still enroll for open “short-term” classes this fall Mesa College, most of which start on October 12. Seats are still available in over 40 classes, all of which are on-line. Short-term classes are 8-weeks, and designed so that students can earn units more quickly. Students are encouraged to enroll and register as soon as possible. Courses still available include Accounting, Computer Business Technology, Chicano Studies, Exercise Science, Fashion, Health, Nutrition, Multimedia and Philosophy, many of which can fulfill general or specific education requirements for students looking to both earn a degree or transfer.

Students can take advantage of the over 700 courses being offered at Mesa College this summer – to either get ahead or catch up on their academic requirements. Summer courses are not restricted to Mesa College students – students from SDSU, UCSD, USD and other universities are encouraged to enroll in summer courses to attain their general education requirements, and save a significant amount of money by doing so.
