Who is eligible for tutoring?
The Mesa College Academic Skills Center (formerly Tutoring) provides tutoring for Mesa College classes.

How do I access services?
Students log in using their Student ID (CSID) card and select the course in which they would like tutoring.

What does it cost?
Services are FREE! Since the tutoring courses are zero units, there is no cost to the student.

What subjects are available?
Availability of subjects may be limited because of budget constraints. Accounting, American Sign Language, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Business, Chemistry, Computer/Info Science, Economics, English, Languages (Chinese, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish), Math, Medical Terminology, Multimedia, Music, Physics, Statistics, Writing

Do I need an appointment?
Tutoring is mostly done on a walk-in basis for most subjects...please plan ahead as some times are busier than others. Writing Coach appointments and online paper submission can be set-up online at the ASC Writing Center.

How can I become a tutor?
The Center has applications for prospective tutors. A referral from an instructor may be required. Volunteers are welcome.
