The Mesa College Library maintains a Course Reserve Collection for faculty who would like their students to have limited loan access to textbooks and other curricular materials.
We encourage all contract and adjunct faculty to use this collection—and at the very least, to put a copy of each of your class textbook(s) in this collection. When you do so, you have the option of selecting the borrowing period you would like (two-hour loans; overnight loans; or 3-day loans).
To put books in the Course Reserve Collection, please print out and complete the course reserve form.
Please bring this form with the books you want to put on Course Reserve to Cindy Hess at the library's checkout counter on the first floor of the LRC. (You may call her at x2483.) To help us meet student needs, please bring your texts and course materials to Cindy as soon as possible. At the end of the semester, your books will be returned to you.
You may also request to have books which the library already owns moved to the Course Reserve Collection for the duration of the semester.
Use the library's Course Reserve Collection ... your students will benefit!!
