PHYE 106 Aquatic Fitness

Description: This course covers instruction and conditioning in the four competitive swimming strokes through interval training and cardiovascular respiratory fitness through related aquatic activities. The different aquatic fitness programs are set up to attain desired levels of cardiovascular efficiency. This course is intended for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. When this course is offered for three hours per week, the additional time is utilized for skill development and increased cardiovascular conditioning.
