Ms. Hannah Padilla Barajas holds a B.A. degree in Spanish and Studio Art from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and a M.A. in Hispanic Language and Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
In 2002-2003 and from 2004 to the present time, Ms. Padilla Barajas has been an adjunct instructor in Spanish at Mesa College. At various times during the same years, she has also held similar positions at MiraCosta College and Cuyamaca College. She has been responsible for all duties associated with these positions and has been successful in incorporating computer technology into her classrooms.
Ms. Padilla Barajas has also been a research assistant at the California State University, San Marcos Foundation, where she taught classes and provided data support for Latina’s Vida, a project that investigated domestic abuse experienced by Latina women in San Diego’s North County.
