My name is Pedro Olvera. I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and a Master of Arts in Education, with an emphasis in counseling and guidance. I am currently a Counselor/Assistant Director for Extended Opportunity Program and Services (EOPS). EOPS is a recruitment and retention program that provides counseling and a variety of support services to students who are educationally and financially disadvantaged. I have sixteen years of experience with EOPS programs and have also taught English as a Second Language and citizenship courses as part of my professional career.
