Dr. Dina Miyoshi is an Assistant Professor in Psychology. Dr. Miyoshi earned a B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego and both an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. She has strong academic training appropriate for this position. Dina also has strong research experience, serving as a Research Consultant at the UCLA-Harbor Medical Center. Her research focused on health issues in older adults.
Since 1994, Dina has taught courses in many aspects of Psychology, including Human Development. She also has a strong knowledge of teaching strategies to enhance adult learning. Dr. Miyoshi has served as a Lecturer at San Diego State University and an Associate at the University of California, Riverside.
