Ron Israel joined the English department in the spring 1997 after spending the previous six years an a “freeway flyer” teaching throughout San Diego County. Ron earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Arizona and his M.A. in English from San Diego State University. He has taught all levels of composition, American Literature, and creative writing
Professor Israel is currently completing a second M.A. in Humanities through CSU Dominguez Hills. He will begin teaching humanities courses in the fall 2008 semester, as well as continuing to teach Honors English 101 and other courses in the English Department.
