Welcome to May, the culmination of another year at San Diego Mesa College. May is filled with celebrations of all sorts, including the highlight of the school year, Commencement. The student exhibition includes 100-plus artworks in drawing, design, digital media, printmaking, photography, painting, ceramics and sculpture, produced by students enrolled in Mesa's studio art classes. 5/3-12 – Mesa College Theatre Company Presents “Almost, Maine,” by John Cariani and directed by Annie Hinton. Almost Maine is a whimsical approach to the joys and perils of romance. Magical happenings bloom beneath the snow drifts. Almost Maine explores the thunderclap of love and the scorched earth that sometimes follows. You’re invited to be a part of Mesa College history with the groundbreaking of a new $40.5 million instructional building to be located in the central core of the Mesa College campus. The building will feature approximately 66,000 gross square-feet of “smart” classrooms, Psychology, Anthropology, and Geography laboratories, and Communication Studies studios.
