Step 4: Advisement - See a Counselor to develop your Abbreviated Education Plan (two-semester) or get started on selecting your first semester classes on your own.
Step 5: Registration - Register for classes
Step 6: Fee Payment

The online orientation will take you less than two hours to complete and, once you begin, you can save your progress if you need to sign out and return later.  Print out the New Student Checklist to help you keep track of your progress as you complete these steps.

Assessment is another important part of getting started at Mesa College.  Please be sure you are prepared by reviewing these practice tests and bringing your photo ID with you to the Assessment Center (I4-201).  Your placement results will be emailed to you.

When you receive those results, you are ready to select your first classes.  You can bring your placement results  and the Abbreviated Education Plan worksheet with you to the Counseling Office (I4-303) for assistance in developing your two-semester education plan.  Or you can select your first semester classes on your own with the Miss Olympia online advisor.
