3/15– Biology Department Presents: Ryan Levinson. Ryan is the EMS/Rescue Manager for the Big Wave World Tour and an EMT with the City of San Diego. The Mesa College student has competed in over 40 triathlons, and has placed top-3 in national and world championship events while also pursuing his passion for surfing, bodysurfing, kite boarding, and sailing. All this despite having a form of Muscular Dystrophy which has caused many of his muscles to atrophy. Come and hear this uplifting story about overcoming obstacles by this truly remarkable young man.
