Above us only sky... You meander through a little village in the gallery. Dream houses big and small, constructed of wood, metal, glass and jute, populate the space. Artist Becky Guttin began this series when she migrated from Mexico City to San Diego. She meditates on our need to build a home, to construct a house, to find a place where we belong through lyrical variations on a simple recognizable form.
