Students may be eligible to receive EOPS services if they meet all of the following criteria:
- Are residents of the State of California, as determined
by the Admissions Office
- Must be enrolled in 12 or more units within the SDCCD, minimum 9 units at Mesa
- Are qualified to receive a Board of Governors Waiver (BOGW),
either A or B
- Have not completed 70 or more units of degree
applicable college coursework-this includes all colleges attended.
- Meet the BOGW Income Guidelines
- Transcripts from all prior colleges must be on file with the Mesa Records office
- High school transcripts may be required
- Additionally, students must meet one of the following criteria:
- Not qualified for English or Math courses required for the degree objective
- Have not fulfilled the requirements for the high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED)
- Have a high school GPA less than 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Have enrolled in a developmental or remedial level
course or program
