Description: This is the first course in Vietnamese with emphasis on understanding, speaking and reading the language of everyday life. In this interactive course, the elements of grammar are examined with practice in writing Vietnamese, using the subject matter relating to the culture and traditions. Basic language structures and vocabulary for communication are examined and explored in Vietnamese. This course may especially be of interest to students preparing for a career in education.
