CISC 130 Introduction to Local Area Networks

Description: This course is an introductory study of microcomputer local area and wide area network development, use and administration. Emphasis is placed on presenting students with a breadth of knowledge from wiring to applications and including hardware, software, transmission media, packets, frames, network topology, routing, protocols and layering.
