Description: This course is designed for students who are interested in an introduction to the Internet. Students receive hands-on practice using Netscape to navigate the World Wide Web and link to Internet resources. Topics include creating and sending: e-mail, FTP, and file downloading, locating newsgroups and other discussion tools, conducting business on the Internet, and creating Web pages using HTML. This course, or sections of this course, may be offered through distance education.
