Description: Social psychology examines how individuals are influenced by their social environment. Special attention is given to social cognition and perception, self-justification, conformity, group dynamics, prejudice, aggression, prosocial behavior and applied social psychology. Emphasis will be placed on developing critical and integrative ways of thinking about theory and research in social psychology. This course is for anyone who is interested in the subject of social psychology.
