Description: This course is an introductory survey of Native American art and architecture from the prehistoric period to the present. The course will examine the history of Native American cultures from the West, East, North and Southern regions of the North American Continent as represented in pottery, textiles, wood and stone carving, basket-making, jewelry and performance. This course is intended for art history majors and all students interested in the humanities.
