RADT 085L Fluoroscopy and Radiation Safety Laboratory
Description: Activities include California state-mandated curriculum to satisfy the laboratory educational requirements for 1) general diagnostic radiologic technology (minimum of 25 hours), and 2) California fluoroscopy permit (minimum of 15 hours). Laboratory activities will include, but not be limited to, 1) methods and safe practices to reduce radiation doses to patients and personnel in general and fluoroscopic procedures, 2) general and fluoroscopic image quality and recording, and 3) quality control procedures. This is an advanced laboratory course in fluoroscopy and radiation protection for radiologic technology students.
