Description: This course is a practical study of theatre rehearsal, production and performance. Emphasis is placed on artistic and intrapersonal collaboration in the production process, including script analysis, acting, directing and scenic, costume and lighting design. All students participate in the creation of a fully realized production given as a public performance. This course is designed for drama majors and anyone interested in performance. This course may be taken four times for credit. Students must demonstrate increased proficiency and/or new skill attainment with each repetition. When this course is taken for more than one unit, the additional time is utilized in increasingly complex rehearsal, production and performance roles.
