Description: This course is a study of the Indo-Hispano roots of Chicano culture in the United States. Emphasis is placed on the historical development of Chicano popular culture and its expression through music, art, radio, television, newspapers, literature and festivities in urban and rural contexts. This course is designed for students majoring in Chicano Studies and/or Humanities.
