CHIC 110B Introduction to Chicano Studies

Description: This course is a continuation of Chicano Studies 110A. Emphasis is placed on the historical development of the Chicano people including their connections to the indigenous people of the Southwestern and Western United States, their historical and contemporary experiences as residents of border of territories and as transnational actors as well as their contemporary roles and influence in United States culture, society and economy. This course is designed for students majoring in Chicano Studies and/or Social Sciences.
