I am taking classes preparing to transfer to: Medical School, majoring in Biochemistry/Chemistry
One of the reasons this area is of interest to me is because: I find reactions in the body and the surrounding world interesting.
Research Interest and Experience: (describe your experience working in a lab and/or your interest in Research) Last summer I worked in Dr. De Maio's lab at UCSD through the Bridges Program doing research on heat shock proteins. I am currently working at Reva Medical, a coronary stent research and development company as a chemistry intern.
Being involved in the Bridges Program at Mesa College has been helpful to me in the following way(s): The program has opened many doors for me and has opened my eyes to the world of science and research.
