The Olympians finished second in the Pacific Coast Conference this year making it the first time since 2004 that they have not won the conference. Sophomore Brittany Moss and Freshman Amber Davidson received First Team All Conference while Freshman Joslin Alexander was selected to the Second Team. The team was seeded 7th in the So. Cal Regionals and lost to Golden West in the first round. Overall, the Olmpians finish 19-7 and 15th in the State.
The team will return seven in 2009. Coach Kim Lester feels the Olympians have the potential to contend for the conference championship with the ultimate goal of making it to the state championship tournament.
The Women's Volleyball team wrapped up pre-season play with a win over Long Beach City College. Currently ranked 12th in the state the Olympians head into conference play with a 9-4 record.
