AHT Program Information Sessions
Orientation sessions are conducted to brief the prospective student about the program, expectations, and selection procedure. Please make an effort to attend one of the sessions. Topics covered are: the application, the special admission process, selection criteria, course work, class schedules, program history, program cost, job opportunities and outlook. There is a question and answer period followed by a tour of the program facilities and animal compound.
Typically, there are three sessions per academic year and are held on Saturday mornings from 9-11 AM. The orientations are at the Animal Health Technology Facility (P-300) in Room P-308. The facility is at the corner of Genesee Avenue and Marlesta Drive. No RSVP is required. Street parking must be utilized.
Dates for the 2012-2013 academic year are: September 15th, February 2nd, and May 4th.
A "Certificate of Attendance" is given to each attendee and it can be used as part of the "proof of career exploration".
