Nutrition
Welcome to the Nutrition Program at San Diego Mesa College!
We offer three excellent academic pathways in the field of dietetics/nutrition.
- Transfer to a four-year university for a degree in nutrition, leading to becoming a Registered Dietitian
- Dietetic Service Supervisor Certificate of Completion
- Associate degree for vocational purposes
Our program educates students in the scientific principles of nutrition as it applies to health and diseases. It enables students to seek employment in the field of dietetics/nutrition. Some areas of employment include: health care, sports nutrition, food science, education, research and food service.
