Orientation sessions are conducted to brief the prospective student about the program,
expectations, and selection procedure. Please make an effort to attend one of the
sessions. Topics covered are: the application, the special admission process, selection
criteria, course work, class schedules, program history, program cost, job opportunities
and outlook. There is a question and answer period followed by a tour of the program
facilities and animal compound.
Typically, there are three sessions per academic year and are held on Saturday mornings from 9-11 AM. The orientations are at the Animal Health Technology Facility (P-300) in Room P-308. The facility is at the corner of Genesee Avenue and Marlesta Drive. No RSVP is required. Street parking must be utilized.
A “Certificate of Attendance” is given to each attendee and it can be used as part of the “proof of career exploration”.
The upcoming orientation dates are:
May 13, 2017 10am - 11am Room P-300 @ Animal Health Technology facility.
Please view the calendar on the Allied Health Programs web site.
